The Science of AbP•ID®AbP•ID protein arrays are a product developed by Identity Sciences LLC and leading scientist at the United States Department of Energy’s Idaho National Laboratory. The AbP•ID testing service determines a person’s antibody profile by identifying auto-antibodies that are found in all human bodily fluids. At birth we all have the identical antibody profile of our mother. Those profiles gradually change until, at about the age of two, a stable, random, unique pattern is formed. From that point on, our antibody profile does not change. Our antibody profile is not genetic, which means, even identical twins have their own unique, individual antibody profile that AbP•ID protein arrays can reveal. Learn How an AbP•ID test is different from DNA:Rather than analyzing a chemical in a cell’s nucleus or mitochondria as DNA does, AbP•ID analyzes the ISAs found in all mammals. AbP•ID is currently designed to work exclusively with blood samples from human beings but ISAs are also found in saliva, urine, perspiration, tears, and semen. Other AbP•ID tests using saliva, semen, and perspiration are currently in development. An AbP•ID protein array consists of specific proteins printed onto the surface of a nitrocellulose membrane. The AbP•ID protein array is exposed to blood samples containing ISAs in addition to a series of fluids that will develop a unique individual profile. Once developed, the AbP•ID protein array is scanned into a proprietary AbP•Image software program that was specifically developed by Identity Sciences to digitally analyze, archive, and references AbP•ID profiles.

These auto-antibodies detected are not the antibodies that fight off cold or flu but instead are individual specific auto-antibodies (ISAs) that perform a kind of housekeeping function ridding the body of useless dead and diseased cells.
