What is AbP•ID®?.AbP•ID is a new human identification technology based on a historically proven science called Antibody Profiling (AbP). IDS and the INL developed this proprietary test which reveals each individual’s unique, one-of-a-kind antibody profile. Which biological fluids work with AbP•ID?AbP•ID works on blood serum, whole blood, and dried blood. Other AbP•ID tests using saliva, semen, and perspiration are currently in development. How long does it take to receive accurate, reliable results?With the AbP•ID testing service, it takes up to four business days for results after receipt of shipment. AbP•ID can expedite your results for an additional fee and you can receive your results within 24 hours after receipt of shipment. How much blood is required to run an AbP•ID test?Approximately 20 microliters of blood serum and 30 microliters of whole blood or blood stain. How does AbP•ID work as a companion tool for DNA testing?AbP•ID tests can be performed to determine which suspects and evidence warrant DNA testing or can be used to exclude a person(s) from further analysis, saving valuable investigative time and effort. How does AbP•IMAGE make AbP•ID more useful?AbP•IMAGE is a proprietary software program of Identity Sciences, LLC. It is an imaging program that digitally analyzes, archives and references AbP•ID profiles.
